The Sites
Taking place across various construction sites, the training is strategically aligned with the stage of construction and the content covered in the module. This ensures that students gain practical insights and hands-on experience directly relevant to the subject matter, enhancing their understanding and readiness for diverse roles within the construction industry.

Wuhan University in China
The Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT), and its industrial partner Shandong Lihan Construction Engineering Group, both based in the People’s Republic of China, have signed a collaboration agreement with Dorra Academy in June 2024, to start a new international collaboration project on sustainable green construction materials.
The project includes improvement of extruded cement plate design theories, production line technology, quality control measures and features the inclusion of recycled construction and agriculture waste in mix designs. The project also aims at the publication of the research results in international academic journals, and the production of a draft design and construction code of practice.

AUC
The Construction Engineering Department at The American University in Cairo (AUC) has actively engaged in academic-industrial collaboration with the academy, including Participation in the AUC Academic-Industrial Board meeting in 2022.
Hosting the CRC-AUC Co-op Training program in summer 2023 for four high-achieving students, providing practical experience and monthly stipends.
Conducting a pilot project on 360-degree site photography as part of Eng. Ahmed Bahakim’s MSc thesis, published under the title “Integrating 360-degree photography and QR codes for enhanced progress reporting.”
The academy accepts AUC trainees during graduation project trainings and providing information on CRC projects. Welcoming AUC trainees for both summer and winter training opportunities.

- Organized student and professor visit to El Alamein LD-05 Tower in March 2023.
- Participated in 3 juries for student project demonstrations (Final year and 9th semester students).

- Discussing the implementation of an upgrade project for unplanned urban landscape in Tersa Axis, near the Grand Egyptian Museum. Project aims at establishing culture-inspired graffiti and upgrading of urban walkability and landscape in a sector of Tersa Axis. MOU is currently under review, between CRC and the Faculty’s Engineering Consultations Centre.
